Welcome to Scissors & Sheds Hair Salon!

My name is Crystal Huffman, and you may also know me by my maiden and previous married names, Jennings and Austin. I am a lifelong resident of Fellowsville, West Virginia, where I was born, raised, and continue to proudly serve my community.

I became a licensed cosmetologist on January 2, 1991, beginning my career at Creative Expressions Hair Salon in Kingwood, WV. Not long after, my passion for the industry led me to open my own business, Center of Attention Hair Salon in Newburg, WV. With decades of hands-on experience, I remain committed to quality service, professionalism, and personal care.   At Scissors & Sheds, we offer a full range of salon services for the entire family, including men’s, women’s, and children’s haircuts. We specialize in professional hair coloring, hair extensions, and perms, and we are proud to offer a senior citizen discount as a thank-you to our valued older clients.

Beyond cosmetology, I bring a diverse professional background that includes work in real estate, the service and warranty departments at Scott Ford in Kingwood and Triple S Harley Davidson, Local 379 Laborer Union, and as a title researcher in the Oil and Gas industry. These experiences have shaped my strong work ethic and dedication to customer service.

Today, I proudly own and operate multiple businesses, including Crystal’s Portable Sheds/Buildings & More LLC, Crystal’s Buildings dba, Crystal’s dba, and Scissors & Sheds dba. I am fully licensed as a general contractor, real estate agent, cosmetologist, and Notary Public.

Most importantly, I am a proud mother of two sons and a blessed grandmother to two amazing grandchildren.

Violet Wilt

Color & Extension Stylist

Violet Wilt is a licensed hairstylist with three years of professional experience and a passion for helping clients look and feel their best. She is excited to be joining the team at Scissors & Sheds Hair Salon, where she brings creativity, skill, and a genuine love for people into every service she provides.

In addition to her work in the salon, Violet also serves as a teacher at OTA, reflecting her strong commitment to service, learning, and community involvement. She specializes in hair extensions and professional color services, and also offers select men’s haircuts.

Violet is available by appointment on Fridays, Saturdays, and select evenings, with plans to expand her schedule during the summer months to better serve the community.

Outside of her professional life, Violet is a devoted wife and the proud mother of two wonderful children who are the heart of her world. Guided by faith, she strives to create a welcoming, uplifting experience for every client and believes she has been called to serve others through her work.
